Childhood Nutrition Consultant & Strategic Advisor

I work with brands, organizations, and media platforms that want to support children and families in thoughtful, evidence-informed ways

With more than 34 years of experience in pediatric nutrition, feeding, and child development, I provide strategic guidance that helps organizations navigate complex decisions related to child health, nutrition messaging, product development, and family wellness.

My work is grounded in a whole-child approach, one that considers not just nutrition science, but also feeding dynamics, child development, emotional well-being, and the realities of family life.

Who I Work With

I partner with organizations whose work impacts children and families, including:

  • Food and nutrition brands
  • Healthcare and wellness organizations
  • Parenting and media platforms
  • Educational and public health initiatives
  • Pediatric-focused companies and startups

Past and current collaborations have included work with brands such as Once Upon a Farm, Brainiac Foods, Needed, and Sunnie.

My Approach

What makes my perspective different is that I don’t look at nutrition in isolation.

Children’s health is shaped by more than nutrients alone. Feeding relationships, development, emotional well-being, family dynamics, appetite, environment, and messaging all play a role in long-term outcomes.

That broader perspective helps organizations make decisions that are not only evidence-informed, but realistic, sustainable, and supportive of families in real life.

Speaking & Advisory

Many organizations first connect with me through speaking engagements or professional education programs.

Following a keynote, workshop, or training, I may continue working with teams in a strategic advisory capacity to help apply whole-child principles to products, messaging, education, and family-facing initiatives.

Engagement Structure

Advisory services are offered through monthly or quarterly retainers and are designed for organizations seeking ongoing strategic guidance rather than short-term or task-based support.

Engagements are typically structured around:

  • Scope of involvement
  • Time commitment
  • Strategic needs of the organization
  • Whether work involves advisory only or public-facing collaboration

Advisory relationships represent a meaningful investment and are customized to ensure clarity, mutual fit, and long-term impact.

Public-Facing Collaborations

In select cases, advisory work may expand into public-facing collaboration, including educational partnerships, spokesperson work, or limited use of my name and professional affiliation.

These arrangements are considered separately from advisory retainers and are evaluated carefully to ensure alignment with my professional standards, values, and evidence-based approach to child health.
