Fresh Baby Review and Giveaway

I am always on the hunt for products that help families ease the job of feeding their kids, and I think I’ve found a good one, especially for parents of toddlers!

Fresh baby

When my four children were toddlers and preschoolers, feeding was a systematic production. I lined them up at my kitchen island, plastic plates and cups at the ready, and served up their meal. At the time, my feeding style was different, and I would have welcomed a portioned plate with wells for food. Food portions would have been easier to match, and the raised sides easier for little hands to manage scooping up food.

I wish I had known about Fresh Baby! I met Cheryl Tallman this past October at the Food and Nutrition Conference and Expo in Philadelphia as I was browsing through the hundreds of vendors displaying their goods. Her booth caught my pediatric nutrition eye!

“The ultimate goal of Fresh Baby is to have our name synonymous with family-friendly healthy eating,” she explains.

Fresh Baby is a company that supports parents with simple and natural solutions to reduce a child’s risk of unhealthy weight by promoting the development of healthy eating habits from the first bite of solid foods. You can understand how I was drawn to these products—our mission with Fearless Feeding is similar!

Fresh Baby offers something that I would have gladly purchased: the Children’s Six-Piece Dinnerware Set, which includes a four-section portion plate, helping keep food portions on target for little bodies; a weighted 4-ounce cup so spills are less often; a colorful two-sided placemat, and 3 pieces of child-size cutlery. Personally, I really love how the plate and placemat are decorated with food items and activities to help children learn about food groups and healthy games to keep little ones active, like Hopscotch, Kick and Catch, and Red Light, Green Light (I am reminiscing my own childhood games!). These products also make it easy for parents to start the nutrition conversation early.

Fresh Baby also offers a So Easy Toddler Food Cookbook and a Kid’s Portion Size Guide, offering parents healthy recipes and realistic portion sizes for little ones, so overfeeding (or underfeeding) is avoided. With pictures of recipes in the cookbook, you’ll be enticed to try the Mango Bagel or Avocado and Orange Salad!

Thanks to Fresh Baby, I am excited to give all of these items to ONE LUCKY WINNER!

  2. I was so diligent about what baby#1 ate, poor baby #2 is already suffering from “second child syndrome”. This would help me start him off right too! Thanks for the opportunity!

  3. I used FB products when I was making my sons baby food. Now he’s 13 months and eats everything we eat, coincidentally my husband asked me two days ago how we should go about monitoring his portions winning this would be a great start!

  4. I have 3 older children and one toddler. Now that my older children are 13, 11, and 9, I realize even more how important it is to start good habits early! These products will help me to get on the right track with my 20 month old. I am so glad that I found your blog last Fall! I have learned so much about nutrition and I’m helping my children to break some bad habits, and make some new ones!

  5. I would love to win these items to use as education props for parents in our Early Head Start program. Thus, these items would be helping many families to learn healthy eating habits, appropriate portion sizes. Seeing these items first hand would also give them knowledge on what products are out there and where to buy them

  6. I love the plate for my 3 year old son… Most days it is challenge to get him to eat very much. But what I worry the most about is getting him to eat a balanced meal and not just focus on eating one type of thing only.
