SUPER-6 Fearless Feeding Launch Giveaway

Drumroll please…

Announcing the SUPER-6 Fearless Feeding Launch Giveaway! As you know, I have been giving away prizes like crazy as we lead up to the official release of Fearless Feeding: How to Raise Healthy Eaters from High Chair to High School, which is this Monday, April 22nd. Today, I am giving away 6 goodies that will make raising a healthy eater easier.

Maryann has a similar 6-winner giveaway going on at Raise Healthy Eaters–for the same reason–to celebrate the official launch of Fearless Feeding!

Reminder: Don’t forget to sign up for the 3 months of free Greek yogurt from Chobani to 2 winners—it ends tonight at midnight!

It is hard to believe that the book release day is finally here! It has been a long journey to get to this point…nearly 3 years!

I want to take a couple of special moments to highlight a few things about the book and this process:

First, I couldn’t have asked for a better writing partner than Maryann Jacobsen. Our work together, fortified by our mutual passion for childhood nutrition and food, changes the conventions of childhood nutrition.

We developed a unique message and approach to childhood nutrition that is realistic and relevant for today’s world, shifting from a WHAT focused solution (food) to a whole-child approach, including the WHAT, HOW and WHY of nutrition and feeding.

Through the ups and downs of our friendship and the creation of Fearless Feeding, we always came back to the reason we wrote this book—our desire to make nutrition easier for parents, not harder; a desire to make feeding joyful, not stressful; and a desire to help families, especially children, like food, not fear it.

Second, we couldn’t have done this without the support of many, many friends, colleagues, clients and our families. Writing a book takes a toll on everyone! We put our whole lives into this book.

We have sacrificed our time with family and friends to write. We’ve asked colleagues for support and insight, and for stories from our blog readers and clients. Please know that we could not have made this book without each and every one of you!

Third, we reached out to professional colleagues from over the years that we know and admire, including Ellyn Satter, Chris Duggan, Allan Walker, numerous researchers, and many fellow dietitians, who all took the time to advise, read and endorse our book. And, we are forever grateful to Brian Wansink for his eloquent foreword.

So, I thank you all for sticking with me through the last 3 years. Your support has meant a lot to me!

I especially want to thank the colleagues below who continue to show their support to Fearless Feeding, and who have generously offered their goods and services to you as part of my SUPER-6 Giveaway!
