Ziploc’s Great American FreshOver Project (and Giveaway)

I’ve got a big family and often buy food in bulk. I bring it home, divide it and package it for the freezer. Also, I’m a fan of making sure there’s enough food on the table so that everyone can satisfy their appetite. Because of this, I often have leftovers that I save for the kids’ lunch boxes, my own lunch, or the end of the week must-go.

Keeping food safe, fresh and convenient is my top priority. The folks at Ziploc have an array of products that do the job. They’ve teamed up with Rachael Ray to create the Great American FreshOver Project to help you make your favorite fresh food and store it safely.

For free FreshOver Project resources such as a downloadable Recipe Guide from Rachel Ray, a chance to win cash prizes and a trip to New York to meet Rachael Ray, go to Facebook and “like” Ziploc.

Also, Ziploc is teaming up with me to offer you a generous prize! Wait until you hear this:

Enter my giveaway and you will have a chance to win a generous prize pack including a cooking wok, utensils, Ziploc Perfect Portions, Ziploc VersaGlass and assorted other products in a Baggu bag ($130.00 value).

Perfect Portions allow you to quickly repackage and freeze the serving size of your choice. So, whether you are packing for one or six (like me!), Perfect Portions can help you get the job done.

Versa Glass containers are dishwasher-safe and made from tempered glass. That means you can use them to store food in the fridge or freezer, heat it up and even serve it on the dining room table. How convenient is that?

Here’s how to enter:

1) Mandatory entry: Like Ziploc on Facebook (you get all the free stuff that way) and leave a comment on Just The Right Byte saying that you did.  If you already like Ziploc, just leave a comment telling us that along with why you want to win.

2) For an additional entry, like Fearless Feeding on Facebook.  If you already like us, tell at least one friend.  Leave another comment on Just The Right Byte saying what you did.

3) For a third entry, tweet, pin or share this post on Facebook, and leave a comment on the blog saying what you did.

This giveaway will end in on Monday April 16th at 12pm and will be announced on Just The Right Byte’s Facebook page.  Good luck!

P.S.–Maryann is giving this away on her blog too–so head on over to Raise Healthy Eaters to double your chances at winning!
